As the Festive season is around the corner we humbly request your support in our annual tradition of reaching out to our community and helping those out who are not so fortunate. This year we have partnered with The Yellow Brick House located in Richmond Hill. Founded in 1978, Yellow Brick House (YBH) provides services in York Region to women and children who have experienced violence and abuse. YBH provides four core services: emergency shelter, transitional housing, outreach services and public education. The two emergency shelters offer safe places for women and children fleeing from abusive situations.

By donating your gently used clothing and housewares you help this organization support and empower these women and help them get a fresh start. Below is a list of items that are requested.

· Diapers (new)

· Double bed sheets (new)

· Towels (new)

· Winter Coats

· Waterproof winter gloves

· Winter Boots

· Winter hats

· Utensils

· Cutlery

· Mugs

· Drinking glasses

If you can spare any of these items please remember to bring them with you to our venue during the weekend of our Sharadutsav 2015 held between Oct 23-25th at Bramalea Lions Hall in Brampton ON. Just to emphasise please ensure you are only donating items that are 'gently used' and in a condition that can be worn or used by another person.

For more details about this remarkable organization please visit their website http://www.yellowbrickhouse.org/

Any help that you can provide will go a long way in helping to rebuild the lives of these women and children and giving them a chance to fresh start in their lives.

We sincerely appreciate your support and generosity!
